It is a known fact that oral healthcare can be expensive, especially when it is needed in cases of emergencies. To reduce the financial burden on patients, Family Dental Clinic has entered into a Contract with BUPA, HCF, Medibank Private and CBHS in which Family Dental Clinic has undertaken to charge members of the funds an agreed schedule of fees for each procedure. These fees are lower than what one would pay to Dentists who are not Members First or Members Choice providers. As a result of the subsidised fees for members of the health funds, and depending on your level of cover you have, you are more likely to pay a smaller "gap" payment towards your treatment at Family Dental Clinic.

Please note that whilst Hawthorn Road Family Dental Clinic will charge the scheduled fees stipulated by the above Health Funds, the amount of rebate you are entitled to will depend on the level of cover that you have. You are encouraged to make inquiries with your health fund with regard to the rebate that you are entitled to for specific treatments (identified by item numbers) at Hawthorn Road Family Dental Clinic.
